Komitmen Organisasi dan Perilaku Caring Perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap RS Dadi Keluarga

Isu penting dari perawatan pasien adalah akses ke tempat perawatan yang tepat dan meningkatkan kepuasan pasien. Kinerja perawat dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor diantaranya komitmen organisasi. Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh terhadap interaksi sosial, preferensi, sikap, perilaku, dan posisi individu dalam organisasi, keberhasilan organisasi dan kualitas perawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komitmen organisasi dengan perilaku caring perawat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel dihitung menggunakan rumus Slovin, jumlah sampel perawat 83 orang, sampel pasien 83 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner Caring Behaviour Inventory (CBI) sebanyak 24 pertanyaan dan kuesioner komitmen organisasi Meyer-Allen sebanyak 24 pertanyaan. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji statistik spearman rank. Komitmen organisasi perawat sebagian besar tinggi (59%). Perilaku caring responden mayoritas pada kategori baik (77,1%). Ada hubungan positif antara komitmen organisasi dengan perilaku caring sehingga dengan meningkatkan komitmen organisasi, perilaku caring perawat meningkat (r=3,19 p value=0,03). Manajer dan pimpinan perawat harus lebih memperhatikan untuk meningkatkan komitmen organisasional perawat, guna meningkatkan kinerja perawat.

Abstract

An important issue of patient care is access to appropriate care and increasing patient satisfaction. Nurse performance is influenced by many factors including organizational commitment. Organizational commitment influences social interactions, preferences, attitudes, behaviors, and individual positions in the organization, organizational success, and quality of care. This study aims to determine the relationship between organizational commitment and nurses' caring behavior. This research is a descriptive correlation study with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The sample size was calculated using the Slovin formula, the nurse sample was 83 people, and the patient sample was 83 people. The research instruments were the Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI) questionnaire with 24 questions and the Meyer-Allen organizational commitment questionnaire with 24 questions. Bivariate analysis used the Spearman rank statistical test. Most of the nurses' organizational commitment was high (59%). The caring behavior of the majority of respondents was in the good category (77.1%). Organizational commitment and caring behavior have a positive relationship, with increasing organizational commitment increasing nurses' caring behavior (r=3.19 p value=0.03). In order to improve nurse performance, managers and nurse leaders must focus more on increasing nurse organizational commitment.
