They assume that most people still assess the elderly as people who are less productive, less attractive, less energetic when engaged in activities, easy to forget and lose memory. This activity was carried out with the aim of improving the mental health of the elderly through the peer group. This activity is carried out by discussing with fellow seniors so that they can provide education on how to improve the mental health of the elderly. From the peer group activities, it was found that the elderly often experienced irritability, emotions easily provoked, difficulty sleeping, frequent waking at night, often restless, feeling sensitive, and feeling lonely because their children did not want to live together after marriage. At the end of the meeting session, an evaluation of the activities was carried out and the results showed that the elderly had accepted the conditions of emotional change and understood ways to improve mental health as we got older. So it can be concluded that the peer group can improve the mental health of the elderly because the peer group as a means to exchange opinions, feelings and thoughts experienced by fellow seniors so that they can give each other motivation, support and can help in solving problems together.
